All applicants are required to audition and demonstrate their current ability in dance, singing, and acting. Our panel will also be looking at individuality, performance quality and potential.​​To audition you will be required to attend a:

 

1. Movement/ Dance Workshop in a Musical Theatre Jazz style.

2. Sing a Solo Song

3. Deliver a Monologue​

Throughout the audition process our panel are looking for you perform to your best and to enjoy the process by being yourself. We aim to create an inspiring, supportive and safe environments for you to audition in and if you require reasonable adjustments please let us know ahead of time. ​​

 

The Dance / Movement Workshop

This call is a Jazz-based technical class (75–90 minutes) including drills and an Musical Theatre Jazz routine in which we want to see your technique, style, and individuality.​

Please bring both jazz shoes and studio trainers for the workshop.​

 

The Solo Song

This is your opportunity to share a Musical Theatre style song lasting a maximum of 90 seconds.​Please ensure you have downloaded a pre-recorded accompaniment/backing track that you have rehearsed with​​

 

Monologue

This is your opportunity to share your acting and storytelling skills through one prepared monologue of any style, contemporary or classic but please ensure it is a maximum of 90 seconds in duration.

 

​​Optional

If you would like to share an additional dance in any genre or style please prepare a solo routine in lasting a maximum of 90 seconds. ​​​

 

Applicants demonstrating exceptional performance skill may be considered for entry even if they do not fully meet academic requirements.
