  • A supportive  learning environment

We recognise that Musical Theatre is an ever-evolving industry. Our curriculum reflects that reality: Jazz is the only summatively assessed dance discipline, encompassing Technical Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop supported by other key disciplines such as Ballet, Tap, and Contemporary; acting across text, screen, improvisation, and song; and vocal training across legit and contemporary styles. With 20 Skills Weeks per year, students refine technique, explore creativity, and shape their individual artistry ready to further their development in production modules.

Performance is at the heart of your training.  Across three years, you’ll appear in musicals, pantomimes, new writing projects, variety showcases, London performances, sharings, and a professional agent showcase. These opportunities ensure you graduate with the confidence and experience to step directly into the profession.

Alongside artistry, we prepare you for the practical realities of a sustainable career. Professional development is embedded: audition technique, contracts, branding, wellbeing, and portfolio building (such as headshots and showreels). Our strong pastoral support — including the One Dance UK wellness package, Virtual GP, personal tutors, and mental health first aiders — ensures you can thrive both as an artist and as an individual.

Entering its 20th year of professional training, ROM Theatre Arts has built a reputation for producing performers who work across the West End, international tours, TV, and film.

Our graduates don’t just join the industry — they shape its future.
