I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my first year at SPAA!
I have seen a massive improvement in my performance and within my self, being the 100% scholarship owner.
I am extremely grateful to SPAA for putting their belief in me and giving me so much support in everything I do and seeing so much potential in me.
This year has been very eventful with all the opportunities they have given me.
I’m so glad I made the right decision to come and do the three year diploma course at SPAA, and look forward to the next two years.

'I couldn't of wished for better 3 years of training. If I could go back, I'd do it all again with Rom Theatre Arts.
The structure of the course is phenomenal. Preparation is key and RTA definitely concentrates on every single detail to make sure that the final product delivered is the best version of yourself, to conquer the industry.
Daily challenges are what makes RTA special - The teachers always pushed us further each day, and we can expect the unexpected which is great preparation for the future, from the surprise audition prep classes to being asked to prepare a monologue for the next day, just like you would on a job.
What I looked forward to the most is putting on up to 7 shows a year, including 2 on a West End stage. As a performer I lived for it - there's something to look forward to, It makes you feel like a working professional handling everything at once with the support of all our professionally working teachers.
RTA has given me confidence, strength, life skills and developed me into a performer that I always dreamt of being, and I also left with an acting showreel, professional headshots and a 3rd year graduating year showcase in front the best agents. As a graduating student I have been showcased to my best ability and in my own casting bracket. I think RTA has given everyone the best opportunity to be seen and presented to the industry as a great performer, and I can't thank Mikki and Leanne enough for this.
To make my 3 years at RTA even greater, I have graduated with a 3 year Musical theatre diploma, I am represented by an Agent and I also become a part of a family that will be in my heart forever, because from the moment you walk into RTA's building you instantly become part of their family. Friendships made during your course are for life. I am an RTA graduate and I am industry ready after the best training.

I am so happy I decided to do my one-year top up course at Rom Theatre Arts. It was exactly what I needed at a time when my confidence needed a boost! Everyone from the students to the faculty were so supportive and encouraged me throughout my training, they became my family. The intimate classes helped me to grow not only as a performer but as a person.
My favourite part of training at RTA was the incredible classes. The faculty were brilliant, every aspect of Musical Theatre was covered to help me get the best out of my training. We also had associate weeks every term, every day we were taught by a different industry professional!
Throughout my training my health was important to me. I’m so grateful I got the support I needed with group mental health chats, 1-2-1 counselling and a nutritionist at college for advice.
I am so proud of the Musical Theatre Diploma I obtained. However, this was only the cherry on top. I recorded a vocal reel. I got new head shots. I also had college agency representation where I had the privilege of auditioning for Lion King, Thriller, Book of Mormon & Six!
I was always showcased to my best in every college show. I performed in two ‘in house’ musicals and two graduation show’s in London. After the Grad Showcase, I signed with Artlen House Associates.
I highly recommend Rom Theatre Arts College to anyone who wants a one-year top up. You will 100% leave industry ready!
